The infertility experience is already uncertain and irregular enough, but getting a high-quality insemination kit shouldn’t be.
At PherDal, we’ve designed an artificial insemination kit to be used on your own, at home, on your terms, with the reassurance that its contents are sterile and that those contents provide you with multiple opportunities to get pregnant thanks to proven science. Moreover, PherDal’s kit is working to become the first FDA-cleared fertility treatment offered OTC.
Trust me, I’ve been there: you’ve tried nearly everything and this seems like it could be a good option, but you’re not so sure. Don’t worry, we’re here for it.
We’re going to tell you what comes in this kit, how it all works, and what to avoid when shopping for one.
The PherDal Kit, Under a Microscope
A closer glimpse into any at-home artificial insemination kit reveals a handful of tools aimed at improving your odds of conception.
Typically, there are needleless syringes or other applicators used for the insemination itself, plus accompanying cups or jars to collect the semen sample. Most kits you buy online probably have some combination of these materials, but not all kits are created equally.
Our patented PherDal kit stands apart because it features the ONLY sterilized syringes on the market, and comes with more syringes and jars than any other version out there. We’ve prioritized quality products to protect your reproductive health so that you can have peace of mind in an otherwise emotionally unpredictable infertility journey.
With the PherDal kit, you’ll get:
-
3 single-use, individually packaged, needleless syringes
-
3 collection jars, one for each application
-
Science-based yet easy to understand instructions
That means you’ll have three separate chances at getting pregnant in the privacy of your own home. We’re committed to delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in your fertility journey.
We Specialize in ICI Kits
Infertility is defined as the inability to get pregnant after a minimum of one year of unprotected vaginal intercourse. As you may know, infertility is treatable through the right therapies and interventions, such as the popular in vitro fertilization (IVF). There are lots of options aside from IVF to assist in treating infertility, including at-home artificial insemination kits.
These types of kits deposit sperm at the opening of your cervix through intracervical insemination (ICI). This method introduces sperm to your reproductive system earlier and faster, bypassing much of the vagina and expediting the process.
ICI is often referred to as “the turkey baster” technique, which is an unfortunate—but not entirely inaccurate—characterization. The specifics of ICI are much more involved than this arguably gross comparison, but can still be achieved with ease.
I understand how overwhelming it can be trying to treat your infertility. My own infertility journey led me to apply my background in science and launch PherDal. I wanted to enable everyone looking to start a family to do so with ease.
A proper at-home artificial insemination kit increases your chances of getting pregnant if you’ve been struggling to conceive. But again, the specific kit you choose can make or break this experience.
What to Look for in ICI Kits
Once you know what to expect, you’ll be better prepared to find the best at-home ICI kit for you and your individual needs. Obviously, and totally objectively, we recommend the PherDal kit (others who have found success might agree).
But if you’re still just browsing and want to weed out any disreputable sellers, I’m happy to help. Here’s what to keep your eyes out for when you’re doing your research:
-
Reputation. This is key. Is the company in question competent enough to be selling you an artificial insemination kit? I’ll rephrase: are they competent enough to be selling you something that’s going to be put into your body? Check out the founder or president, their background (it’d better be scientific), any certifications or licenses they have, and funding sources to deduce whether or not you can confidently say “yes” to their brand. Even customer reviews are worth exploring, though they can be faked or paid for, so consider them carefully and with a grain of salt.
-
Components. The tools you use matter, and if they’re subpar, ineffective, or unsafe, they will probably cause even more issues during a deeply personal time. Steer clear of kits whose contents seem suspicious. As mentioned before, the item list of at-home ICI kits is fairly standard; however, the quality between one kit and another could be vastly different. As a reference, PherDal uses IVF-grade medical plastic. Bottom line–take heed.
-
Approach. Are they claiming a 100% success rate for pregnancies? Do they promise their kit is perfect, but leave out important information about what’s actually in it? Is their website or packaging mostly concerned with aesthetics and trendiness rather than the science behind insemination? Red flags galore. No one can guarantee a pregnancy, and anyone who does is playing games with your wallet and your dreams.
At PherDal, we’ve made it our mission to answer all of your questions and deliver the highest standards of transparency and honesty. If you want to learn more about our story, we’re an open book.
Regardless of whether or not you go with our kit, we hope that you’re able to conceive the baby you’re dreaming of.
